No kidding! People wouldn't have any reason to deny or refuse something unless it seemed threatening to them (ego). Only recently has there been any acceptance of humans having what are considered normal abilities. The kids I speak with now don't even know what they can do! I was fortunate that my mother didn't tell me what I could do or see was wrong. My family celebrated the fact we were different. :)

I think many of us have childhood experiences we quickly invalidate so we can "fit in" with the normals. I didn't remember my own childhood experiences until a few years ago, and had nothing to understand what happened. When I picked up ACIM so much fell into place.
