The people of the world will never live in peace until the people of the world have inner peace. Inner peace and true strength are major goals of A Course in Miracles, but it has a unique way of accomplishing this within you. The world will change as result of it, but that is not what the Course is for. It is for you. It's a present. But it is also a challenge.

You will sometimes hear people say that the Course is simple, but you will seldom hear anyone say it is easy. The world will appear to change for you at times because the Course handles the cause of everything, rather than effects. And what is the world but an effect? That is certainly not what the world believes - but this world is nothing to write home about.
