In the illusion, people project their denied guilt onto others. Not only are they unaware that they're doing it, but on top of that - because there's really nobody out there anyway - what they're really doing is recycling the guilt within their own unconscious mind, keeping it and the ego intact. That's what J meant when he said, 'Judge not, that ye be not judged; for with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.' That's true because people are really judging and condemning their own images of themselves. This leads to a continuation as a seemingly guilty ego from lifetime to lifetime, because what caused the dream is guilt - and the need to escape it. ~ Gary Renard, The Disappearance of the Universe
