Profile Information

About me:
Ex-pat Brit living in the U.S. for...(thinks)... 44 years now. Wow! Really? Much to love about this side of the pond, yet love being "a little Brit different" too.
Love travel, writing, books, and the inner journey.
"A Course in Miracles" has helped me in these ways:
It has given a perspective on much of the insanity in the world and in my life. The depth of the teaching combined at times with truly beautiful and poetic language has been and is a great source of comfort and clarity.
Favorite Spiritual Resources (e.g. books, websites, videos, songs, etc.):
Lots of 12-step materials and authors that helped with the recovery and emotional healing that made me ready for the Course.
Love poetry in general, good memoirs, and art books.
Also contemporary British novels by Joanna Trollope, Penelope Liveley, Ian McEwan, and the like. They help me feel I can catch up on what's been happening across the pond!
Am currently writing a memoir with a view to showing my life as a journey towards A Course in Miracles.

Favorite music

Love classical and sacred music (sang in church choirs for many years).

Also love popular songs, folk, rock, some New Age, Celtic, well, almost everything! :-)

Went to see Andrea Bocelli this Christmas--love that man and his singing!

Hi Shelagh!   Now you have a friend in Brisbane and you can visit me if you come "downunder."  I am going to London in June to visit my daughter and then we go to Macedonia where I originally come from.  I am very excited about the trip!

Blessings

Hi Shelagh!

Thank you for accepting my invitation.  I am glad to have you amongst my friends as well.  And I agree with you.  ACIM brought all of us here together and of course we will be helped if we need to.

Blessings
