- About me:
- I'm a wife and a stay-at-home/ homeschooling mom of 3 young children. I have been a student of "A Course in Miracles" since I was 15 years old, and I love it! It isn't always an easy path but when I truly accept surrender and open up to the Course's teachings, I am able to find peace.
This spiritual path has also led me to become a vegan, a Reiki Master/ Teacher, and a Certified Angel Card Reader(tm).
I love my family and spending time with them is where I feel the most joyful! I also am an avid reader; I adore books of a spiritual nature (and of course anything related to ACIM), and I LOVE fiction (especially supernatural fiction!). I am a poet, writer, and blogger; I love to express myself with the written word.
Other things I love to do include knitting, crochet, yoga, ballroom dance, running, vegan baking, and watching all my favorite dorky TV shows and movies over and over! :)
- "A Course in Miracles" has helped me in these ways:
- Where do I begin?!?! ACIM has changed my life, shaped my life, and given me passion, purpose, and spiritual connection. It has given me an awareness of miracles!
One of the biggest ways it has helped me is by giving me a RESOURCE that I can always count on. Every obstacle or situation I come across, I know that I can depend on the Course's principles to find the way to peace. I don't always choose peace, but I know that peace is available to me. Hopefully I am getting better at choosing it!
Another incredible gift the Course has given me is a relationship with the Ascended Master known as Jesus. Growing up a Christian, I always had an affinity and close relationship with Jesus. However, as I evolved and became disillusioned with organized religion, I struggled with what Jesus meant to me and how to relate to him. Through studying the Course, I feel I have been given the freedom to have a relationship with him free of dogma or fear, and that connection I shared with him as a child was able to grow and flourish into something positive and inspirational. The Course enabled me to free the vision I had of Jesus, and forgive the perceptual shackles that bound him in my mind. I can now connect with the immense love I have for him, and use that as my guide to love all of my brothers and sisters. He is my teacher and guide, and I will always be thankful to the Course for giving me that gift.
