What is Miracle Share?
Miracle Share is the social network for students and teachers of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). A Course in Miracles is one pathway of a “universal course” in which we are guided to remember that all that we seek for can be found within ourselves - we are guiltless, whole, and already home. Miracle Share is a place where we can talk, connect, and support one another in living the Course. Miracle Share warmly welcomes all students of ACIM, regardless of the edition of the book they study.

What does it mean to be a student versus a teacher of ACIM?
A Course in Miracles “emphasizes that to teach is to learn, so that teacher and learner are the same" (From the Manual for Teachers, "Introduction"). According to ACIM "A teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be one." The qualification is only that at some point the teacher has made the decision to "not see his interests as apart from someone else's" (Manual for Teachers, "Who are God's Teachers?"). Teaching within an ACIM framework also means that the Teacher of God will have completed the Workbook (Manual for Teachers, "How should the teacher of God spend his day?").

Who can join Miracle Share?
Anyone who is a student/teacher of A Course in Miracles. You are welcome to join if you are just beginning to study the Course, or if you have been studying it for years.

How do I edit my profile?
Click on “My Page” (at the top of the screen), then “Settings” (on the right). You can then click “Profile” (on the left).

Where do I control my privacy settings?
Click on “My Page” (at the top of the screen), then “Settings” (on the right). You can then click “Privacy” (on the left).

Who can see my profile page?
Profile pages are public, unless you set your privacy settings differently. To change the visibility of your profile page, click on “My Page” (at the top of the screen), then “Settings” (on the right). You can then click “Privacy” (on the left). Under “Visibility” you have the choice to allow “Anyone,” “Members” of Miracle Share, or “Just My Friends” to see your profile.

What are blogs?
Blogs on Miracle Share are just like blogs elsewhere on the internet. They are an opportunity to share your teaching/learning with others. Keep your blogs visible to "Anyone" in order for Google to index them.

Do I own the content of my blog?
You own the content of your blogs. Miracle Share does not. Miracle Share is powered by Ning so you can check out their policy as well.

Can I adjust the privacy settings of my blog?
Yes. Click on “My Page” (at the top of the screen), then “Settings” (on the right). You can then click “Privacy” (on the left). Under “My blog, photos and videos can be viewed by…” you have the choice to allow “Anyone” “Just My Friends” or “Just Me.” Keep your blogs visible to "Anyone" in order for Google to index them.

How can I post my blog?
There are several different ways you can get to the page to post your blog. Click on “My Page” (on the navigation menu), followed by “Blog Posts” on the left. You will then see the “Add a Blog Post” page. If you do not, you can click on the box “+ Add” towards the right.

What are groups?
Groups are a fun way to connect based on interest. Join existing groups or start one of your own!

Can I start a group?
Absolutely! We encourage you to start a group. Click on “Groups” (on the navigation menu), then the button “+ Add.”

How do I join a group?

Click on "Groups" (on the navigation menu). Find a group that you are interested in, and click on it. Towards the top of the page (but below the navigation menu) you will see a box that says "+ Join group." Click on this button to join the group.

Who can see activity on groups?
This will depend on however the group creator set up the group. Activity may be public or private. Ask the group creator if you are interested in knowing this. Otherwise, assume that activity is public.

Should I add members as friends?
We are all friends on Miracle Share. However, to be able to send members direct messages on the site, or invite people to groups you create, you will need to be “friends” with them.

How do I add friends?
When you click on a member’s profile, click on “Add as Friend” which appears under their photo.

How do I accept a friend request?
Click on “My Page.” Towards the right of the screen (under your name) you should see “Friends” followed by the number of requests awaiting your approval (if any). Click on the pending number of requests to see your requests received. You can click on “Accept” to approve the request.

Is Miracle Share content viewable to anyone?
By default, yes, unless you modify your privacy settings.

How can I adjust email settings on Miracle Share?
Click on “My Page” (on the navigation bar), “Settings” (on the right), followed by “Email” (on the left). Here you can choose to get emails instantly, receive a daily digest, or adjust your settings as indicated. You can also opt to stop following discussions or group activity that you join by clicking on “Stop following” on the respective pages ("Stop following" usually appears below your comment field).

Why do I hear a random chime sound?

If you hear a chime noise while you are on Miracle Share, that indicates that someone just posted in the chat. Clicking on the “Chat” tab in the navigation bar opens up a live chat window. You can also access chat on every screen by clicking the chat bar on the bottom right of your browser window. To adjust the volume of the chat chime, open the chat window. Towards the bottom left of the chat screen, there will be a volume symbol. Click on it to adjust the volume. You can also “turn off chat” by clicking on the green dot (which then turns it to red). The green/red dot appears on the bottom right of your browser window.
