In learning to see truth we are in effect unlearning the idea of seeing what is not true. This process of correction contains fear within its infrastructure, which is the element that bound us to it. We would have not been able to believe the certain limitations of what is not true if we knew that we were free to believe what was true. This is what became the image of ourselves that we saw in the world about us, ever fearful, ever limited, and ever impossible.

Yes, this is the difficulty of "thinking" and/or "feeling" our way out of suffering. We are within that "infrastructure" (or at least we think we are) and consider ourselves bound by its (our) perceived limitations.
