I let forgiveness rest upon all things,
For thus forgiveness will be given me.

Sometimes I become overwhelmed thinking about all that I need to let go of. I just have to remind myself that the Holy Spirit will be gentle with me. Everything will fall away as it is meant to and I will be all the more peaceful for it ♥

I'm sure that you get plenty of mail from inmates writing to express thanks for the books you send out. But how can I possibly express what I feel what you you have made possible for me. I owe you my happiness and joy-how can anything re-pay you for that?

Joe, what you're doing is far more valuable than you understand. I'm sure that many of the books you send go out to people who really don't want or value them, or to people who can't understand what they're reading. Many seeds hit the ground but only a few grow into a mighty oak tree.

Gary Renard's book, [The Disappearance of tyhe Universe] is a Masterpiece! The book has opened my eyes to so much and cleared up many issues for me. Robyn's book [Robyn Buishfield, author of Forgiveness is the Home of Miracles] has also been very helpful to me in understanding that everyone has a rocky road working through the workbook [of A Course in Miracles].

I have been studying the "Course' for two years now, and it's just now really beginning to pay off. My brain feels like it's been re-wired and I'm hardly the same person who arrived in prison 30 months ago.

I want you to know that I'm fully committed to returning myself to my original wholeness and teaching and helping otherts [to] gain their freedom as well. I love you Joe- I will never forget what you made possible for me. Just know that every once in a while a real student arrives and your books become like bricks of gold- so valuable and priceless.

I'm 63 years old now and any books (the ones you sent) afre my most valuable possesions. The one life you touched thru me will go on to touch many other lives you can't even imagine. God bless you Joe- Can't wait to meet you in person.

Comment by Jill McCullough on April 23, 2013 at 6:21pm: I just had to share with everyone the immense comfort I have received from my lesson today. It is Lesson 327, I need but call and You will answer me. I love this passage:

"I am not asked to take salvation on the basis of an unsupported faith. For God has promised He will hear my call, and answer me Himself. Let me but learn from my experience that this is true, and faith in Him must surely come to me. This is the faith that will endure, and take me farther and still farther on the road that leads to Him. For thus I will be sure that He has not abandoned me and loves me still, awaiting but my call to give me all the help I need to come to Him."

I read this over and over again this morning, it so moved me. The night before I had just read in Robert Holden's book "Shift Happens!" that, as we continue on the spiritual journey, these shifts from fear to love and miracles can happen in an instant. With continued practice and willingness, we stop seeing temporary crises as reasons for atheism! This hit home for me because I have witnessed myself, when a difficult circumstance arises, go from love to fear without a thought. And that is the point: WITHOUT A THOUGHT. It is a conditioned response; a habit that I have CHOSEN, and I can choose differently. It seems easy to choose fear, and yet why do we think it will be so hard to choose love?

I was also reading Corinne Zupko's latest blog post this morning about willingness, and it seemed to further cement the message for me. Spirit is telling us, in the above lesson, that if we CALL, HE WILL ANSWER. And by that proof, we can live. If we don't have that tiny bit of willingness, though, we won't SEE His answer. We will miss it simply because we are looking elsewhere (at fear). Just yesterday I was praying about a person with whom I had an argument recently, and I was stuck in that feeling of "they need to apologize for what they did to me!" Though by now I recognize that is a call for love and healing (meaning, that I have to heal my mind and that will cleanse my perceptions), I was saying in my prayer, "Holy Spirit, I am really really mad at this person. But I don't like feeling like this. I don't like this heaviness sitting in my chest. Even though I am angry, I am willing to see this differently. Just a little bit. Hopefully that is enough." And just saying that gives me peace. It helps me to remember, okay, I can let this go, I don't have to control this; its in the HS' hands now. I can step back, breathe, and get on with my day.

So anyway (sorry for the rambling!), getting this lesson this morning was like total confirmation for me that we ARE heard, and we don't have to take this whole Course on faith. If we ask, we will be shown. If we are willing, we will truly see. :)

And from forgiving thoughts a gentle world comes forth, with mercy for the holy Son of God, to offer him a kindly home where he can rest a while before he journeys on, and help his brothers walk ahead with him, and find the way to Heaven and to God.
