Dear Joe [Spirit Light Outreach]

I'm sure that you get plenty of mail from inmates writing to express thanks for the books you send out. But how can I possibly express what I feel what you you have made possible for me. I owe you my happiness and joy-how can anything re-pay you for that?

Joe, what you're doing is far more valuable than you understand. I'm sure that many of the books you send go out to people who really don't want or value them, or to people who can't understand what they're reading. Many seeds hit the ground but only a few grow into a mighty oak tree.

Gary Renard's book, [The Disappearance of tyhe Universe] is a Masterpiece! The book has opened my eyes to so much and cleared up many issues for me. Robyn's book [Robyn Buishfield, author of Forgiveness is the Home of Miracles] has also been very helpful to me in understanding that everyone has a rocky road working through the workbook [of A Course in Miracles].

I have been studying the "Course' for two years now, and it's just now really beginning to pay off. My brain feels like it's been re-wired and I'm hardly the same person who arrived in prison 30 months ago.

I want you to know that I'm fully committed to returning myself to my original wholeness and teaching and helping otherts [to] gain their freedom as well. I love you Joe- I will never forget what you made possible for me. Just know that every once in a while a real student arrives and your books become like bricks of gold- so valuable and priceless.

I'm 63 years old now and any books (the ones you sent) afre my most valuable possesions. The one life you touched thru me will go on to touch many other lives you can't even imagine. God bless you Joe- Can't wait to meet you in person.

Starting in September, A Course in Miracles with Joe Wolfe. The 3rd Tuesday of each month (remainder of 2012: 9/18, 10/16, 11/20, and 12/18). Hopefully you’ll want to continue past 2012. J It’s now a teleclass, so it’s from the comfort of your own home over the phone. You don’t have to be on the computer as you can just use your phone. I get on the computer so I can see how many have called in.

Letter to a Prisoner is an amazing introduction to ACIM. It's one a prisoner will be able to instantly identify with and find hope in. Joe Wolfe visited us at Unity North Tampa recently and, since that time our ACIM group has initiated a prison pen pal ministry that we're very excited about. Joe receives so many letters from prisoners, it's impossible for him to answer all of them himself, so we've become a team of "Joe's Little Helpers" so to speak. He made us understand just how isolated our brothers and sisters behind bars feel and what a gift it is to receive a letter and a word of encouragement from the outside. Go, Joe!
