Hi Christine. Welcome aboard! If you are interested in purchasing a Big Book or 12 & 12, you can go to any Barnes and Noble. The "Big Book" is a for "Alcoholics Anonymous" (the actual title.) You can also order them here: .http://aa.org/lang/en/catalog.cfm?category=2.

The Big Book and 12 Steps and 12 Traditions book can also be read online at http://aa.org/lang/en/subpage.cfm?page=359. I also found a few good sources for reading AA oriented literature, studies and workshops that practice these principles. One is http://spiritualsteps.com/main_links.html. I especially like the Joes and Charlie recordings, as well as the Mark H and Dave F tapes..If these seem to much the Paul F is an excellent introduction to the 12 Steps. He takes you through all 12 Steps in 4 or 5 hours. A good beginner's guide. There are also PDFs that coincide with many of these presentations - all FREE! And finally - there a a 12 Step site that tailors specifically to ACIM students. www.12stepmiracle.com

At some point in the near future I would like to start a ACIM /12Step phone group if there is enough interest.Anyway, don't let all o the stuff I am sharing with you overwhelm you. But feel free to just enjoy the journey. Once again - welcome. :)

Hi! I am so excited to join you all here :) 

I love the 12 steps was recently introduced to it, though I have reservations about everything (always a healthy skeptic, but such an innocent curious explorer) :)... It help's. I find it's structure nice. 

I know little beyond my educational training in 12-step work, but I am curious to get to know the lingo etc more. Where can I order the Big Book?

Also which edition book do you use Danielle for acim <3

That's great news! I do workshops on Wednesdays (step 4) and we're starting with other steps now; it's great for people who need refreshing or for people who don't want to go full sponsorship but still want to do hands on with step 12. Sponsoring is truly an amazing experience.

So I put my name down to be a sponsor on Monday night. I know that I live the steps, even if it's not in a traditional way. :) I'm giving the whole experience to the Holy Spirit.
