I remember reading in the Disappearance of the Universe how Gary was driving to see a movie and was supposed to be involved in a car accident as per "the script". Pursah and Arten explain to him that he avoided the the accident because of the forgiveness that he had previously done. In other words, the lesson had been learned and so the accident did not need to happen.
How do you explain the difference between there being a written script and our ability to alter the script, like Gary did, based on what we do and who we do it with?

Permalink Reply by Patri on March 22, 2012 at 8:23am In the "script" we defend ourselves from the perceived attacks. So when we start the journey "here", we are full of blockages (we don't "feel" whole).
As we go through the journey, we learn (by finally wanting it) to unblock ourselves thus we can hear the Spirit (ours and the HS is one - there's only 1 Spirit) more and more. Our ultimate desire is/will be to align our will go God's - it is our heart's desire. "Getting there" is the journey, because we try with our Free Will to get what we want thinking it is what we need. This is how we pursue all the lesser gods before we finally realise we only want the "real" One (Truth).
The journey is actually perceiving incorrectly. Each incorrect perception is really a "clue" (a poke) on what needs to be looked at (healing). Each time we heal, we see a better picture of the whole (until we perceive ourselves as what we are, Whole).
The Ego is necessary to guide us through what needs healing; the Spirit checkmarks the undoing of each incorrection.
Pleasing God and doing "the right thing" is really pleasing the heart. It is not easy to 1) listen to the heart (we are usually blocked) and 2) follow its instructions. There's always some sort of people pleasing that gets in the way, or feelings or worthlessness, or whatever, you get the idea.
When there is no struggle (when things are "efforless") is when we are "doing the right thing". But we don't know because there is no self-consciousness (self is out of the way). This is how innocence plays the part; the innocent (the pure at heart) just ARE. They enjoy doing what they are doing without knowing they are doing it. Only the bits "in between" (when we worry or stress) are the bits that need looking at. [to Julia > that's probably why you get the "just be" messages]
It is a fantastic plan which works only when we really want it. How amazing is that? Of course, we can't force ourselves to want it, this has to come naturally. Unfortunately pain is usually the cause of us wanting "a better way". This is why it's also called "the way of the cross". It's a shame, but as we wake up spiritually we start to find less painful ways of changing (wanting) what we really need.
The script is written (we are always Whole), but we can change it all the time (in fact, every Now) by every new decision we make. It is a powerful mystery which seems frightening but it is actually very Loving indeed.
Align your thinking, your doing and your saying according to what your heart tells you and you should "never go wrong".
