Hello All,

I am a new student. I have been reading the very first section of the text and it is written in first person. Who is the person writing?

Would love some guidance.

As a child of three, while quaranteed in a separate dorm away from the rest of the children in an orphanage, very ill with a serious case of life-threatening mumps, "someone" visited me late that night. "He" touched me...comforted me...promised me that I would alright. His large hand covered my entire upper body while "He" communicated to me that everything will be alright.

There was no sound and no indication that anyone was in the room...other than that Hand. No proof that it ever existed and no worldly form of verification. Just the unmistakable presence of One Who Cared.

When I awoke the following morning, much to the surprise of the nuns who cared for me and the doctor who had previously written my life off as just another stastic, I was completely well. No sign of the sickness remained. Even the pious nuns had difficulty listening, much less believing, the excited rambling account of the Visitor of the night before.

Today "He" guides me still. Today I share "His" message with the down-todden, the forgotten and those of our brethren who have found themselves in prison, where "He" too was no stranger.

"Proof" of the existance of One Who Cares can't be verified through five very limited sences. When one can finally move out one's own way and allow a space for Higher Guidance to enter,...when one can trust to remove all worldly validity...(hard one)...and come to the understanding that the world we see with all of it's properties is something we created,..that we're not bodies, but Pure Spirit created in the Likeness of God "HimSelf," only then will we come to threshold with open hands and empty hearts. We step off the cliff and know we're in good, comforting, reassuring Hands.
